"Win for Providers"

  • Win for Providers
  • Win for Patients
  • Win for Business
  • Win for Insurance
31
"Simplified Administration and Reduced Overhead"
  • Simplified Administration and Reduced Overhead:  Less paperwork, administrative hassle, bureaucracy, no CPT codes!
  • Viable Pricing:  “Best price” for services offered that creates a viable and appropriate revenue stream
  • Immediate Payment:  Additional fees for CPT/ICD coding but patients do the administrative work
  • Care Top Priority :  Physicians can focus on patient care, rather than unnecessary paperwork and administrative hassles
  • Stabilized Patient Base:  An increase in SimpleCare patients will result in less dependency on insurance companies and managed care plans
32
"Cost Savings:"
  • Cost Savings:  The “best price” = 20% to 50+% savings
  • Freedom of Choice:  Patients may see their doctors or any licensed health care provider without prior authorization
  • Hassle-Free Visits:  No insurance claim forms, bills, complex billing codes, authorizations, or limits on services or visits
  • Better Quality Care:  Patients and providers determine the most appropriate type of care, without managed care / third party intervention
  • Easy Access:  No medical approvals, waiting periods, age limits, or medical restrictions
33
"Employer Back in Control of..."
  • Employer Back in Control of Benefit Costs:  Allows employer an affordable option for their employees that they internally determine, not the insurer
  • Allows Increased Choice of Benefits Plan:  Employees can choose where their health care dollars are being spent
  • Enhances High Deductible Insurance Plans:  Increases the value and attractiveness of Medical Savings Accounts, Flexible Spending Accounts, and Defined Contribution Plans by stretching the employee’s self-controlled health care dollars
  • A Benefit For The Uninsured:  Allows employers to offer affordable benefits to those previously uninsured
34
"Reduces Administrative Costs:"
  • Reduces Administrative Costs:  90+% Less claims required to be processed, less administration costs
  • Reduces Medical Payments:  Fewer people will exceed their deductible, less claims paid
  • Focuses On Catastrophic Illnesses:  Resources are used to manage high dollar medical costs – “True Insurance”
  • Promotes High Deductible Policies:  Lower cost catastrophic insurance that is affordable to more individuals previously uninsured
  • Improves Member Satisfaction:  More choice, less frustration, improved expectations

"Each provider establishes their personal..."
  • Each provider establishes their personal fees and codes for SimpleCare patients based on lower administrative costs and length of time/expertise levels (see following example).
  • Do not use CPT codes, use B-S-M-L-E and/or simple descriptive terms, Ex. “Vasectomy” for SimpleCare coding to distinguish from insurance based CPT “billing” codes.
  • Be aware of contract violations if you participate in a patient’s insurance panel or Medicare, be aware of all contractual issues and establish a “private contract” only if allowed by the contract... Or cancel the contract!
  • CPT Coded forms – are not SimpleCare transactions!
  • Set fees to be Profitable, Reasonable and Simple!
